The method

What is Krav Maga?

Contact combat. Staying alive. Born for civilians who had little time and no rulebook.

Straight to the point

Krav Maga is an aggressive, hardcore self-defense system.

Born on the violent streets of pre-WWII Europe, it was developed by non-athletic civilians with only one purpose: Staying Alive.

When there is little time for formal training, you have to get straight to the point.

Krav Maga means contact combat. And that’s all it is.

Close. Sudden. Unfair. Quick. Hard. Dirty.

Training places and conditions are designed to enable you to react when you are caught off-guard.

You are challenged to fight and defend yourself and the ones you love when there is no ring, no judo mat, no judge, no referee, no weight class, and no rulebook.

There’s only you and your forceful opponents.

So we are not talking martial arts anymore. We are talking survival.

Sports No. Fitness Yes.

While Krav Maga isn’t a sports program, it can be one of the most profound fitness programs on earth.

It represents a unique lifestyle: a newfound sense of accomplishment, confidence, and — along the way — an unprecedented physical condition for most practitioners.

It is a modern, constantly evolving system. Effective against armed and unarmed opponents. One attacker or several.

In addition to self-defense, Krav Maga will build your muscles, making them stronger, thicker, and longer.

Each training session will help you get faster, more powerful, and more agile, regardless of your age or starting physical condition.

You are THE ONE.

Depending on your situation and goals, you can customize your Krav Maga training to your needs.

You will find no specific “forms” or choreographies, and only a very few (if any) absolute rules.

Instead, we introduce you to some fundamental principles, and we encourage you to develop your own set of rules — in self-defense as in life.

In Krav Maga training, the focus is on YOU.

Because you are THE ONE.

A problem-solving system

Krav Maga isn’t a martial art. It’s a problem-solving system.

Originally, of course, that problem generally involves bad people trying to commit violent acts against you.

The full beauty of Krav Maga evolves the moment you recognize that these principles apply far more broadly — to everyday personal and professional problem-solving.

Lessons you will take from THE ONE Defense training may include

  • Physical and mental awareness to avoid trouble when you can
  • Identifying immediate danger
  • Overcoming obstacles even when things get tough and stress is high
  • Intuitive decision-making
  • Smart operating under pressure
  • Resolute defense against any actual attack
  • Effective counterstrikes where needed

ONE life. Defend it well.
